Juniors have a vital role in our department. Even though a junior cannot do most of the things that the members over 18 can do they still have very important job to do around the fire house and the fire scene.

Junior Members are expected to attend training. Training is provided by the department to give you all the skills you will need to become a successful and safe firefighter. 

There are restrictions as to what you can do, but this does not mean you cannot ride on a Fire truck. As a junior firefighter, you will be allowed to ride to scenes where you will be supervised. You will also have the opportunity to run EMS calls as long as you are accompanied by an EMT. The opportunities are endless!
