MVA with Entrapment
16 July 1338hrs. Fire & EMS are dispatched for the reported MVA with no info available. Crews Arrive on scene to find that there were 3 patients. Crews also found that the driver of the one vehicle was entrapped and the passenger was able to remove her self with help. All patients were transported to the local hospital. Crews were placed back in service 1509hrs

Mutual Aid assist From the Wallington Truck Company
While Fixing a sign for the Music Festival The Wallington Fire Department(NJ) Truck company stopped to assist. Our department would like to convay our thanks for the "mutual aid assist" that they provided for us.

MVA Raymondskill Rd
5-July-2008 14:06hrs Fire & EMS are dispatched for the reported MVA with Ejection. Upon the arrival of the first chief on scene the status had changed to a fatal and Fire units were returned, remaining personnel controlled traffic by shutting part of the road down, crews returned to service 1601hrs

Helicopter Landing
1-July- 2008 1937hrs Crews were requested by the Ambulance to setup a landing zone. The members were on scene to for a little under an hour with out incident. The Engine was placed back in service 2014hrs

MVA Interstate 84
26-June-2008 Fire & EMS were dispatched for the MVA at the 48.4 west. Units arrived on scene finding an SUV that had lost control. After hitting a few trees the SUV came to rest about 25 yards from the road in some thick brush and trees. Members controlled hazard and assisted EMS with packaging and removal from the woods. Crews were placed back in service after responding to an auto fire alarm at 0801hrs. The department also responded to 2 additional auto alarms, one with a smoke condition and a CPR assist to EMS later in the day

Mutual Aid to Box 26-03

22 June 00:25hrs. The Rescue and Tanker were dispatch to assist Dingman Twp Fire Department on the 26-03 box for the structure fire in the Conashaugh Lakes development. Crews arrived on scene to assist in FASTeam operations and water supply. After the fire had died down the crews were then moved to overhaul operations. The members were placed back in service 02:33hrs

MVA Interstate 84

2-June-2008 0823hrs Fire & EMS are dispatched for the MVA on Interstate 84 East 39M. Crews arrive on scene to find a station wagon that had lost control and came to rest in the median after striking some trees and losing a tire. Crews assist with Spark, fluid, and patient care. Crews were on scene for less then an hour returning to service 0906hrs

Removing St Joesph From on High

30-May-2008 33-3 & 33-4 are requested for a public service call to remove a statue that was stolen from a local shop which had been placed on the roof of another local business. Crews removed him without incident and he was returned to the local business

MVA Breaks the Silence

29- May- 2008 18:29hrs Fire & EMS were dispatched for the reported MVA at the intersection of West Harford st & Mill st in the Borough. Crews arrive on scene to find 2 Vehicle that had collided leaving one lane blocked. Fire crew established Traffic control and checked for hazards while EMS took RMA's and transported 1 to the local hospital. Crews were returned to service 1901hrs.

  Vehicle Fire

9-May- 2008 21:31hrs Fire & EMS are dispatch for the possible vehicle fire Rt 6 in the rear of the My Place Towing property. Crews arrive on scene to find a junk car fully involved. Crews operated for a little under an hour returning to service 22:19hrs. While operating on the vehicle fire the Duty Crew and the second Ambulance and crew were dispatch for 2 medical calls both transporting their patients to local facilities.

Structure Fire

27-Apr 22:25hrs Crews were called to a reported structure fire at the Beaver Lake Lodge off Raymondskill Rd. Crews arrive on scene to find to find a planter that was filled with fertilizer that appeared to have caught  fire and extended to the structure that it was next too. Pennsylvania State Police in Blooming Grove Fire Marshal investigated the cause ruling it undetermined. Crews operated for a little under an hour returning to service 2328hrs.

Brush Fire

26-Apr 1416hrs Crews are once again dispatched for a brush fire, this time in the Crawford park trailer park development. After the last month the members have come proficient at the extinguishment of  brush fires so this one was just another one to add to the call roster. Crews from 26 and 33 spent a little under an hour and a half where they were returned to service 1535hrs.

Brush Fire

Pictures from the following day.

25-Apr 2144hrs A Friday night is interrupted for a brush fire. Crews arrive on scene to fine an acre and a half of land on fire. Crews from 26, 32, 33, 39, Montague, and DCNR fought the fire for a little under 5 hours bringing it under control within the first 30 minutes of the call. The cause of the fire is unknown and no injuries were report from any fire departments. All crews were returned to service 0100hrs.

MVA Log Tavern

22-Apr 10:34hrs Station 33 Is dispatched for an MVA involving a Refrigerator Truck. The vehicle had been traveling to find Mt Haven and looked away to use his GPS system  losing control and hitting a telephone  pole. Fire crews assisted in traffic and fluids, and EMS took 2 RMA’s. Remaining crews Returned to service 1259hrs.
